Performing at Hootananny in Inverness on August 17th, 2024, was a true honour for BRUACH. Known as a sacred venue for Scottish folk music, Hootananny draws some of the finest traditional and contemporary acts from across the country.

We were deeply inspired by the high level of musicianship that came before us — sharing the bill with incredible artists reminded us of the legacy we’re now a part of.

As we took the stage, the room quickly packed to bursting, and soon the space in front of the stage became standing-room only. We were proud to share our sound with an international crowd — visitors from North and South America, Africa, Europe, and Japan — and to feel our music resonate across cultures and languages.

This performance wasn’t just another gig — it was a milestone, and one we’ll always carry with pride.
