The audience responded with warmth\, and merch sales reached a record high — a reminder that even imperfect moments can resonate. \nSurrounding the gig\, there were beautiful highlights: hiking the Old Man of Storr with bandmates and their partners\, reconnecting with the generous hosts of a beloved B&B\, and performing a spontaneous solo concert for guests the following morning — moments that felt more intimate and honest than the stage itself. \nPerhaps most powerfully\, the journey led to the Fairy Pools\, where in the wild wind of Storm Ashley\, Kayo played her violin alone — not for a crowd\, but for the sky\, the hills\, and whoever happened to listen. \nOne photographer did.And in that captured moment\, Kayo was reminded that music doesn’t need permission to be meaningful.
